Il SISM, da tanti anni impegnato nella clown therapy con il Progetto Sorriso (che a breve ritornerà tra i corridoi dell’ospedale Di Cristina) 
e la SPIA, Associazione Siciliana Immunodeficienze Primitive che sostiene il reparto di Oncoematologia pediatrica pressol’Ospedale Civico di Palermo, sono liete di presentarvi Future DoctorS.
Cosa è?
Future DoctorS è un progetto nato dalla voglia di creare una squadra di volontari per i bambini del reparto di Oncoematologia Pediatrica, lo scopo dei giovani futuri medici è quello di diventare dei “supereroi”, compagni di gioco e di confidenze, per questi bambini.
L’obiettivo è quello di creare un rapporto di empatia e basato sulla fiducia tra il volontario e il bambino, per far si che il bambino possa avere un punto di riferimento in quelle che possono essere giornate invase da stati d’animo quanto più variabili.
A chi è rivolto e a quanti studenti?
A soli studenti di Medicina e Chirurgia e verranno create due squadre per un totale di 5 persone a squadra.
Il progetto prevede due squadre fisse, poichè il bambino, che effettua un lungo ricovero, ha bisogno di incontrare settimanalmente sempre le stesse persone nelle quali lentamente ripone la propria fiducia.
Come verrà effettuata la selezione?
Tramite incontri individuali con una psicologa, che selezionerà coloro i quali riterrà più adatti ad affrontare l’esperienza di volontariato in tale reparto.
E allora, come fare per diventare dei meravigliosi supereroi?!!

E’ inoltre necessaria l’iscrizione al SISM, che puoi effettuare collegandoti al sito www.sismpa.it, cliccando sulla sezione “Iscriviti al SISM Palermo”, poi dovrai portare il foglio compilato in sede (4° piano aule nuove) insieme a 10 euro.
